On the 15th of November a presentation was made at the BIE general assembly towards winning the right to host the 2025 World Expo in Osaka/Kansai.
Japan, together with the 2025 Japan World Expo Committee, made a second presentation to the BIE member countries at the BIE general assembly in Paris on the 15th of November to win the right to host the 2025 World Expo in Osaka/Kansai. Prime Minister Abe sent a video message and activities of public and private organizations in Japan working together with other countries to resolve SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) set forth by the United Nations were introduced. It was stressed that the World Expo planned by Japan and originating in Osaka/Kansai will make a contribution in achieving SDGs. Furthermore, Osaka Mayor, Mr. Yoshimura stated that there is an environment in Osaka to work towards achieving SDGs and introduced "Yumeshima" where the expo will be held. He also made a presentation about venues and images in detail.
